Welcome
to my Joey Scans pages.
Here you'll
find scans of almost every piece of Joey related media I've managed
to collect over the years.
While it's said that "Imitation is the sincerest of flattery"[1],
I ask that if you plan to repost any of these scans on your website
please: 1) place a link back to this site and 2) do not manipulate
the files (i.e.: crop, resize or overly recompress the files).
I realize
that my scans file sizes are large, but because of the large number
of scans (nearly 600 at the time of this writing and several more
on the way), I just don't have the time to optimize each one.
Rather than compromise Joey's beauty in any way, I've chosen the
least amount of Jpeg compression to ensure maximum file quality.
Please note
that you may see many of these same scans posted elsewhere. That's
probably due to the fact that I've had some of these pics have
been available on the internet (primarily through my webpal Zast's
terrific Joey website, Thank You once again Zast!) since 1997.
A special
note and thank you. You'll see Gere Ladue credited on a number
of these pages. Gere ran an excellent mail-order company called
Dragon Art. Through Dragon Art, she offered some of the best and
hardest to find Hong Kong celebrity / movie memorabilia. As she
explained to me when I had the pleasure of talking to her on the
phone years ago, Dragon Art was a way of financing her own personal
collection of Hong Kong memorabilia while sharing with others.
Sadly, to the best of my knowledge Dragon Art has been out of
business for years (I think the last Dragon Art catalog I received
was in 1997) and I haven't heard from or about Gere in as many
years. I don't know if she'll ever have chance or reason to visit
this site, but I'd like to extend a heartfelt Thank You Gere for
all the great Joey items you've helped me obtain.
